Fluoroelastomer — the industry standard for high-heat, oil, fuel and chemical resistance in a true elastomer.

The default premium sealing elastomer: excellent heat, oil, fuel, chemical and ozone resistance with low compression set.

Service temp -4°F to +400°F (-20°C to +205°C)

What FKM is best at

FKM (Viton is a Chemours trade name) offers excellent resistance to heat, petroleum oils and fuels, many chemicals and ozone, with low compression set — the go-to for demanding automotive, oil-and-gas and process service. Standard grades stiffen at low temperature; specialty low-temp and base-resistant grades address specific gaps.
